Guitarist
Dave Foster
and drummer
Tom DeVito founded
Bubble
as an indie pop band in Brooklyn in 1994. Bubble had a future shaping
experience in 2005, however, when the group performed the
Beatles'
Revolver for Classic Album Night at
Arlene's Grocery. Thereafter Bubble made
a career of performing Beatles music for adults and their children through the
"Bubble Do the Beatles" series. The band is best known for performing
kiddie matinees of Beatles covers, but occasionally the group does its own
music for a club date.
The font of creativity exhibited at the Bubble performance
at the Living Room tonight drew from
a well of love for the Beatles and similar pop radio fare. The songs were
presented in singer songwriter fashion, but verses always led to a simple
chorus. It was family friendly music, with a few children in the audience to
certify its authenticity.
