Even More Sidewalk Cafes That Serve Music

Numerous downtown sidewalk cafes have added live music to their menus. Here are some we recently discovered.

Ariel Mosconi with Charley Poe at Baby Brasa
Baby Brasa (173 7th Ave. S.) is a Peruvian rotisserie restaurant and bar founded in 2016 by restaurateur and television personality Franco Noriega. It is modeled after the traditional pollerías of Perú and serves organic Peruvian fusion dishes and signature seasonal cocktails.


Edon Molla at Dua Kafe
Dua Kafe (520 E. 14th St.) is a two year-old cafe that serves authentic northern Albanian cuisine.

Galway Hooker Bar (133 7th Ave..S.), an Irish bar named after a traditional sailing boat that is indigenous to Galway Bay in Ireland, serves salads, sandwiches and burgers along with its sizeable beer menu.

air of the Dog (168 Orchard St.) is a sports bar with pub food and tap beers.


Sarava at Joey Bats Cafe
Joey Bats Cafe (129 Allen St.) serves Portuguese food including empanadas and pateis de nata. It is also an online store that ships its food products to any location.

Pinky's Space (70 E. 1st St.) specializes in rotisserie chicken and also sells art and apparel.

The Roxy Hotel Tribeca (2 Sixth Ave,) serves a classic American menu.

Terremoto Coffee Room (328 W. 15th St.) serves sandwiches and single-source, fair-trade coffee made in a gold-plated machine, plus French pastries.


The East Village All-Stars in Greenwich Village
Patrons at sidewalk cafes that do not serve music may be treated to live music anyway. Several brass bands roam the downtown streets, stopping by each sidewalk cafes long enough to play two songs, collect tips and then move on to another restaurant.
