A Week of Fine Music at City Winery

After a six-month delay due to pandemic protocols, the new City Winery at Pier 57 quietly opened at 25% capacity in mid-October. The sparkling new venue, relocated from its original TriBeCa location, will be known for its beauty, ambience, food and wines, but most of all for its music. Numerous stellar performances graced the stage there in the first week of November, as pictured below.

The venue has not yet announced its official opening night, and until then all the performances will remain unannounced and unadvertised. From Thursdays to Sundays. a blues or jazz band usually performs a three-hour set in the late afternoon into the early evening, followed by a series of New York's best singer-songwriters. Whatever happens on any given night, it is going to be good.
