Appropriate for the Halloween night before the presidential elections, WW3 Illustrated graphic novel's co-founder and artist Seth Tobocman may have terrified spectators in Tompkins Square Park with a slide presentation of his anti-Trump comics. Musicians Eric Blitz, John Wagner and Michelle Shocked improvised a soundtrack as Tobocman unfolded his slide show and spoken word presentation.
The evening began with R. Sikoryak reading and showing images from his new graphic novel, Constitution Illustrated.
Michelle Shocked closed the evening singing "Graffiti Limbo." The songs is an ode to street artist Michael Stewart, who died in police custody in 1983. For an encore Shocked sang the satirical "I Really Like the Cops," written by activist Brad Will.
