| Slash with Guns N' Roses at MetLife Stadium in 2021; he returns to NYC this weekend with Miles Kennedy & the Conspirators |
Last week's live performances in New York were outstanding,
and the weekend promises to be even better. Tyler, the Creator, Slash, Myles
Kennedy & the Conspirators, Rex Orange County, Oliver Tree, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, the Tallest
Man on Earth, Animal Collective, Todd Rundgren, Christopher Cross, Badfinger
feat. Joey Molland, the Chieftains, Kali Uchis, Vince Staples, Gary Numan, and Joshua
Radin are among the marquee touring acts coming to New York City this weekend.
Meanwhile, smaller venues are presenting dozens of equally-good but
lesser-known musicians for those who are willing to discover new musical
treasures. Here is a look back at the past week in photographs alongside listings
of some of the coming weekend's highlights.
Please note that several concerts that were scheduled for
this weekend have been postponed or canceled. The following concerts will not
happen this weekend.
- The Fugees at Prudential
Center
- They Might Be Giants
at the Bowery Ballroom
- Todd Rundgren, Christopher Cross, Badfinger feat. Joey Molland, Denny Laine, Jason Scheff at the St. George Theatre
